• The selection of this national target is crucial as it attempts to provide strategies and policies that balance the production with the consumption of biodiversity resources in a sustainable manner. • NBSAP 2015-2020 qualified the Aichi Target 4 with statements for improving biodiversity resources to ensure comprehensive addressing of the existing problem of imbalance.
