Range and Patsure General Directorate (RPGD) is one of the Administrations of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Rangelands with 17 state head offices and more than 36 branch offices. It is the sole institution responsible for shouldering and formulating the federal rangeland policies, strategies and plans, laying out long-term federal programmes for rehabilitation, development and management of the rangelands, and supervising and monitoring their use.
